It all began when we moved to Kolkata in 2017 with our fur baby Lulu. Lulu was a rescue dog and the apple of our eyes. She was a Saluki and retriever mix with stunning looks that never failed to turn heads. Having lived in the Gulf for a considerable amount of time, we had grown accustomed to professional and high-quality pet creches that provided excellent service and hygiene standards.

But upon our arrival in Kolkata, we quickly realized that the city lacked professionally run and managed dog creches. Most were home-based, and the dogs kept there had little space for themselves. The hygiene standards were low, and there was a lack of ancillary support services like clinics, grooming, and pet store all under one roof. We were disappointed and worried about leaving Lulu in such an environment.

After an exhaustive search, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We had always dreamt of opening our own pet care center, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. However, finding a property to rent for a dog creche was no easy task. Most property owners were hesitant to let out their spaces for this purpose. The idea of opening our own dog creche took a back seat for a while, but we never gave up. Finally, in the end of 2020, we made the bold move of converting our ancestral property into a high-end pet care center. Our focus was on providing the best possible service for pet dogs.
